Pregnant Sex Is Good Sex
Obbbviouuusly you won't die if you have sex.
...But just know that if you're pregnant and reading this, pregnancy shouldn't result in the death of your sex life either. lol
It's February, and we're officially due for #BabyReidNo2 later this month!
While pregnancy can be a fascinatingly marvelous experience, what's not so marvelous is the idea of this beautiful time "ruining" your sex life. Hopefully [good] sex got you to this point, and there's no reason why the party (aka the intimacy in your relationship) should suffer just because you're now incubating a tiny human.
Let me tell you: Pregnant sex is good sex! At least those are my thoughts; and I've had a feeling that this opinion of mine may be scientifically proven somewhere....
As I was watched an episode of Grey's Anatomy (season 14, episode 3) last year, I thought my point had finally been made. But (even with this being my second pregnancy), after watching that particular episode, it dawned on me that I definitely still had some things to learn regarding the potential goodness of pregnancy sex. So I went to consult a medical expert and [actual] non-tv doctor -- my obstetrician, Dr. Roger Kierce (who also happens to be the head of the OB/GYN department at St. Joseph's hospital)! :)
So with a camera/tripod in hand, and tons of questions in mind, we chatted it up. I'm no sex-pert, but turns out maybe I was half right? lol Check out the video below to hear what he had so share!
Hopefully this helps you #LiveRi¢hMommies (and heck, even some daddies)-- who may be curious about the subject, but unsure of what to ask and where to start. Go ahead and continue your healthy, loving, (and sexy!) lives even through pregnancy. ...Because everyone deserves some good loving (and it's even better if it comes as a form of pleasurable exercise) lol!
Comment below sharing your pregnancy experiences so far (as it pertains to intimacy), as well as any random questions that you may have on the subject.
Until the next time, #LiveRi¢h, and Happy Dream Chasing!
