What My Toddler Thinks Of My #LiveRichKitchen Adventures...
I've never been big on the idea spending time in the kitchen... That is, until our daughter Arria was born. A baby's gotta eat, so mama had to do what she had to do. lol This is what inspired #TheLiveRichKitchen.
In my opinion, Arria has a pretty expansive palette for a kid her age. The girl will legit eat just about anything you put in front of her. lol I think it's because once she could start eating solids we introduced her to anything and pretty much everything that we ate ourselves. I'm Nigerian and Nick is Jamaican, so there's a lot of good eating that goes on in our home (outside of what I'm able to throw together every once in a while). Thankfully she doesn't have any allergies (at least none that we know of). It has been such a joy watching her explore new tastes.
As could be expected from any new parent, I have been obsessed with capturing memories. That said, I have tons of photos and videos of Arria over the past 2 years. For me, some of the most amusing parts of being a new parent has been watching Arria grow and experience things for the first time; so every time she tried something new, I would record it-- food was no exception.
For this segment of Arria Tries, I did a compilation of Arria trying some of her favorite foods (aka, everything) ...and some things that she may not have enjoyed so much. lol. Once she hit 9 months she definitely had no problem letting us know what she liked and didn't like. **tear** They get so big, so fast! lol
Check out the videos linked above, and let me know, how what was it like introducing solids to your littles. Did you encounter any challenges? Share below!
