Well, it's no matter now because it has made a wonderful new home... in my closet. Goodness I love thrifting! Want to know the breakdown of the 'fit? Let's get right into it! :)

This look was inspired by motherhood and life... as in, the need to feel as though my life was put together. lol Jaiyce, has just turned 3 months and my body is still all over the place. That said I need a LOT of flexibility and forgiveness in my wears these days to keep me feeling like the #LiveRichMommy I know I am. So when I found this super cute skirt (with it's elastic waist), I literally did a hop and a skip all the way to the dressing room!
I could envision wearing this skirt a ton of different ways (oooohh, I can't wait until I'm ready for crop tops again!), but in this case I just wanted to be comfy and cozy! My boobs have been on melon-mode and I'm still trying to figure out how to work with them (I miss being a part of the itty-bitty committee). I wanted to accentuate the reds in this skirt with a poppin' red lip. Unfortunately I totally forgot to wear the lipstick, but LOVED the red look and comfort of this spring sweater none-the-less. The bonus: I scored this particular one during an Urban Outfitters half-off sale, sale!
The jewelry worn was inspired by the simplicity of spring. I love my "Infinity" necklace so much (also available as a bracelet, and earrings). It's so funny how becoming a mom just makes you want to live in the idea of "less is more." Or is it just me? Over the past couple months simplicity has been my vibe, and I can't get enough.
The fabulous bag you see here is a nod to the original #LiveRichMommy, my mom! I totally swiped this gorgeous piece from her closet. My mom has always had amazing style-- especially in the 80's. Some of my favorite bags belonged to her as my first ever style icon. The color and shape of the bag really tied together the boho-chic vibe that I pulled out of thin air and that was starting to take form.
Lastly, for the hat. What inspired the hat? Being a new mom with no time to exercise the "out" in twist out. So I turned those twists into bantu knots and slapped on this awesome sun hat that I scored at Marshalls for 15 bucks.
This look was so simple and cute, it made me kick up my feet and spread my toes for joy! lol
Welp, there you have it! Another thrifted look for the books. Comment below and share some of your favorite vintage pieces of family "hand me downs" -- or shall we get fancy and call them "heirlooms"?
In any case, I hope you all enjoyed, and until next week-- stay cute, #LiveRi¢h, and Happy Dream Chasing!
